Globe Trotting

    01  — Corinthia Hotel, London
Each of the seven penthouses follows a different theme. This one, the Musician’s, has a grand piano in the drawing room and a working fireplace on the vast roof terrace.

    02  — Devi Ratn, Jaipur
Patterned flooring, exquisite latticework and interiors in shades of ruby, emerald, sapphire and gold ensure this 63-suite boutique hotel dazzles the eye at every turn.

    03 — The Selman, Marrakech
With so many new hotels opening in Marrakech, it can be hard to keep up. This one is distinguished by its stable of Arabian horses — there purely for decoration.

04 — Rocco Forte, Abu Dhabi
The sixth-floor bar, Blue, looks as if it’s floating in the middle of the hotel’s striking 11-storey glass atrium. Unsurprisingly, it has the best views in the city.
