    A painting attributed to Leonardo da Vinci has sold at auction for a world record-breaking $450m (£341m). The painting, known as Salvator Mundi (Saviour of the World), was sold to an anonymous bidder at Christie’s in New York. The painting now joins the small crop attributed to the Italian master (there are few than 20 works officially recognised) – and below is a gallery in which it sits alongside some of his most famous masterpieces.
