The RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2018 is open and in full bloom. The show runs from May 22-26, and a preview day ahead of the official opening was attended by Queen Elizabeth II and Prime Minister Theresa May. Sophie, Countess of Wessex and Princess Anne were also in attendance, as were celebrities including Piers Morgan, Joanna Lumley and Bill Nighy.
This year’s show gardens include A Royal Celebration, marking the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, The Pearlfisher Garden, inspired by ‘the beauty of the vast underwater garden of our great oceans’, and The Trailfinders South African Wine Estate, which takes its lead from the winelands of South Africa’s Western Cape.
The show is supported by Chelsea in Bloom, a competition that sees local businesses decorate their shops with eye-catching floral displays. For more information about the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, go here.
