Curb Your Enthusiasm: Five pretty good Larry David moments

From ice cream etiquette to Larry’s tribute to a beloved aunt

After a six year break, Curb Your Enthuiasm finally returns to our screens tonight for its ninth season. In the show, Larry David, co-creator of Seinfeld, plays a thinly-veiled version of himself, floating around LA with too much time on his hands and seemingly on a mission to offend anyone he comes into contact with. Petty arguments (that inevitably escalate) are his speciality and it makes for a sitcom that’s magnificently awkward, politically incorrect and consistently very funny. So, to prepare for yourself for the new series, or to get a flavour of what you’ve been missing, here’s a selection of Larry highlights. WARNING: The following clips contain very bad language, so don’t watch if easily offended.
